Robert's LakeHouse bar

Our History

Did you know that Robert's LakeHouse sits in a historic building? Records date back to the early 1800's, when it was the private residence of William Utley. Fast forward to 1926, when the building was sold to New Britain Mayor Paonessa, who opened a bar in the basement. Pieces of that page in history still exist today including the actual bar itself, located on our main level, where you can take a peek and grab a cold beer or craft cocktail during your visit to Robert's LakeHouse!
